High-End WORKSHOP
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE:
The objectives of the Robotics and IoT Workshop program are as follows:
To equip students with in-depth technical and programming knowledge of IoT programming.
To provide students with an understanding of current industry trends in IoT and robotics.
To design a Humanoid Collourabotive robot (Lab and Equipments will be provided by NIT JSR through event organizer)
To impart technical and programming skills on various IoT areas, such as IoT basics, cloud computing, robotics, Arduino introduction, robotics programming, and advanced projects.
To educate students on how to upload robotics code, serial programming in robotics, and manual handling device, fixed sequence robot, and variable sequence robot classification.
To provide students with practical knowledge through ongoing projects, including IoT-based portable safety devices, smart urinal systems, drone-based painting mechanisms for high-rise structures, home automation systems, and other IoT projects.
To know the research paper writing process and write a paper on the given topic.
To help students build their profiles for their future job prospects and higher studies.
DETAILS:
Workshop in robotics, IoT, and emerging technologies can offer valuable hands-on experience and insight into these rapidly growing fields.
Robotics, IoT, and emerging technologies workshops are designed to provide students or recent graduates with an opportunity to gain practical experience in a variety of areas such as programming, hardware design, system integration, and data analysis.
This workshop provides programming and technical skills on topics which includes IOT basics, Cloud computing basics, Robotics basics, Arduino introduction, Robotic programming, Robotic classification, Robotics Advanced project and IOT projects.
During these workshops you will work with experienced professional and engage in real world project, gaining practical skills and knowledge that can be applied to your future career.
The duration of this Karyashala will be of 7 days (June 19th – 25th June, 2023).
A certificate regarding successful completion of Karyashala (upon submission of work report) shall be issued to the participants by us which is endorsed by SERV, Accelerate Vigyan, NIT Jamshedpur. Participants not completing the workshop in the requisite period will not be issued any certificate.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students currently enrolled in PG / Ph.D. courses in Science and Engineering Streams from any recognized University / Institute / College in India.

If selected you will be informed via mail and then Endorsement cum No Objection Certificate from the Head of the Department, is to be submitted.
NATURE OF SUPPORT:
Necessary expenses such as, stationery, consumables, accommodation, food, etc. for the participating students will be borne by the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur through SERB funding support for the whole workshop period (pro-rata basis). The interns will also be eligible for TA reimbursement for their journey to the host institute from their hometown/home institute in 3AC by Rail, both ways, as per GOI norms.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The selection of the eligible students for the Workshop will be done on the merit basis of the application and interest in this field. Previous experience of working in topic will be given preference.
Important Notes
There is NO REGISTRATION FEE for the participants.
The event is limited to 25 nos. of PG (M.Tech/M.E./M.S- Pursing) / PhD (Pursing) students only. The work shop will be conducted in physically mode.
Selection will be based on Academic performance and projects completed in the domain which will .
TA, Boarding and lodging expenses for the workshop period will be provided as per KARYASHALA Scheme of SERB, DST.
